CoastOut 2011 Schedule

Friday 28th October

9am - 5pm: CoastOut Conference - Southern Cross University
CoastOut and the SCU present the inaugural CoastOut Conference. Creating an opportunity for a series of conversations with 5 keynote presentations and a Q&A panel discussing the topic 'Gender & Sexuality in Rural and Remote Australia'.

6pm - 11pm: Welcome Cocktail Party - Pacific Bay Resort
A highlight for many in 2010, this years Event will be Hosted by the Sensational Jackie Loeb with an Entertainment line up from around the Nation. A night full of Music, Dancing and Laughs to Welcome all and begin the 2011 Festival Weekend. This Event is a Fundraiser for The Harbour Youth Service & The Gay & Lesbian Counselling Service Of NSW.

Saturday 29th October

7.30am: CoastOut's UNREAL Surf Comp - Park Beach

Proudly Sponsored by UNREAL Estate - Coffs Harbour.
Grab your board and your buddies and come to Park Beach for CoastOut's Surf Event.
All are invited to participate and spectate.

11am: CoastOut Beach & Surf Carnival
Jetty Beach (Harbour), 1.2 km Ocean swim, 4km Beach run, Beach sprints, Beach flags, relays & beach volleyball, tug of war, beach games and much more...

3pm: "Drag Out The Dolphins" @ The Pet Porpoise Pool

2010 Festival favourite returns with Host Joyce Maynge introducing some of the finest

LIVE singing Drag Acts from around Australia. Join us poolside with the Porpoise Pool's

Dolphins and Seals for an afternoon of fun, laughs and magic moments.

6pm: The CoastOut Concert
Park Beach Reserve will come alive as we light the Stage for the FIRST ever CoastOut Concert. You'll be treated to a line up of diverse LIVE acts to get the party started for a fun night of music, dance and pure artistry.

10pm - till late: Sweet: The CoastOut Dance Party @ The Hoey Moey

With the finest line up of DJ's from around the country, including DJ Kitty Glitter (Syd), Lady K (Lis) and Dirty Luck (Coffs) the Dance Party will have a spectacular light & production show thrown in PLUS performances by Shauna Jensen (SYD), Miss Man (MEL) Terrance Wakewood (Newc), Dallas Dellaforce (SYD) & Matthius (SYD) this party is not to be missed.

Sunday 30th October

9am: Barefoot Bowls & Brekky!
This event is an ACON Coffs Harbour FUNdraiser!

Relax into the day with breakfast, bowls and chilled out beats. Teams will be allocated lanes on the day, so just come on down & enjoy the vibe. A great way to get in the mood for the CoastOut Fair Day.

11am - 5.30pm: Fair Day & Picnic

Set in the beautiful surroundings of The Park Beach Reserve by the beach. A day full of Live Entertainment, fun activities, Picnic & Stalls. Bring your rugs, chairs and relax the day away.

5.30pm: Zinc Dance Party Finale/Tea Dance @ Park Beach Reserve.

Wrap up a weekend of fun, sun and sand as the sun goes down. Dance the night away with your new found friends by the beach and under the stars! A fine selection of live music with DJ's Lady K & Craig Wilson aka DJ 1Isamurai, plus a few other surprises! Dress up in your best "Magic" attire.
