Vinegar Tom

Somewhere between, pop, grunge, indie and folk, Vinegar Tom

specialises in dodging obvious pop music genres. Sometimes sincere but

mostly sarcastic, the music of Vinegar Tom delivers smartarse social

commentary and deep life contemplation through a bunch of songs that

are annoyingly catchy and don’t always do what you’d expect.

The singing is sweet and strong, but think of an acoustic Split Enz

swapping clothes with Blur in a department store changing room and

you’ll be getting a good idea.

On Saturday night Vinegar Tom is abandoning his guitar and working the

mic to some rockin backing tracks, paying homage to Brit Pop and all

things nineties. Sunday afternoon will see him cracking the guitar out

however, and inviting you all to join him in an acoustic hippyfest

featuring his original material.

DIVINE KNIGHTS

The return of the male duo A new sound with a wink to the great male pop artists of decades past Divine Knights have been described as “euphoric melancholy” & “the new Pet Shop Boys” Sparkling theatrics and powerful performances Poetic tendencies and an outlandish and cheeky aesthetic.

Their infectious sound is only the half of it...
On the one hand continuing a pop lineage pioneered by such acts as Pet Shop Boys, Erasure and Severed Heads, on the other making up the visionary fashion mantel of the likes of Atomiser or Empire of the Sun, Divine Knights are proving themselves to be not merely meretricious fops, but are honing a brooding dark power that’s not afraid to sparkle and shine.
DIVINE KNIGHTS are now taking flight...
Building up steam for the past three years, their strange and wonderful party is now beginning to truly take flight.
